Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.

Step 2: Build the Sauce

Add the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.

Do not stir.

As the ingredients slowly heat, they will naturally blend together into a rich sauce.

Step 3: Slow Cook

Cover and cook on LOW for approximately 6 hours.

During cooking, the chicken gradually becomes tender and juicy while the sauce develops a rich and creamy flavor.

Step 4: Shred and Finish

Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.

Return the chicken to the slow cooker.

Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Serve

Garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve over fettuccine, rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
